My Holiday is Easter. Easter originated in England in the 2nd century. On Sunday when Jesus had risen from the dead the council of Nicaea in 325 decreed that Easter should be observed on the first Sunday following the first full moon after spring. It was first made for Christians, but anyone can celebrate it. Egg finding and dyeing eggs, eating chocolate go with Easter.
We started with eating chocolate but as the years went by we made better products for this very colorful holiday. Did you know that every year Americans spend over 1.9 billion Easter candy? And 70% of Easter candy purchased is chocolate. I celebrate it mainly because I love eating candy, and I will take every chance I get to eat a chocolate bunny and get stars.
