Cheetahs look tan with black spots on them.They have stripes on them, which are called tears.Their eyes are creamy white. Cheetah can stand 3-5ft tall.They are fast because they run 70 mph. Cheetahs are the fastest land animal. They can run so fast because they stretch out their bodies. The mother cheetah stays with her cubs for 18 months. The mother stays because they will die because lions and hyenas will eat them. Cheetahs can camouflage in the tall grass. Cheetah live in southeast Africa.They live in small groups. Cheetahs like to live around rocks to lay on, open grasslands to hunt, and savannas. They are fascinating animals to watch when they try to hunt. Cheetah eat gazelles and small antelopes. They stalk their food before they attack. Cheetahs eat meat so they are carnivores. They have similarity to leopards- how you can tell they are different is by looking at the cheetah eye.
